The Al Beye Foundation
The Al Beye Foundation was established in December 2006 following the death of Worldwide Hoops's Alioune Beye. On the 15th of December, Al was tragically killed in an auto accident in Dillon, Montana. Al Beye, a 24 year old native of Senegal & a first-team All-Big Sky basketball selection last season at Montana State, died while he and his brother traveled to a Christmas party about five miles from Dillon.
The Al Beye Foundation will award a scholarship to a Montana State University student athlete that demonstrates academic and athletic excellence. Worldwide Hoops was the founder of The Al Beye Foundation and will remain committed to carrying on Al's memory for many years to come.
